Audience and availability

Pixel Cache is intended for people aged 13 and over. Availability depends on countries and app stores. Any conditions or parental permissions required by your country’s law still apply. Advertising and usage measurement are disabled for users who select the 13–15 age range in settings.

In the app

The game stores progress, coins, lives, power-ups and preferences locally. The current version does not require a player account.

Firebase / Google Analytics is integrated to understand game usage: modes played, difficulty, session starts and outcomes, active time, clues viewed, mistakes, power-ups and ad interactions. The SDKs may also process instance identifiers, technical device information and approximate location information. These measurements help improve the game and its balance, not identify a player by name.

Ads and partners

Google AdMob provides ads, including those you may choose to watch for a reward. Its SDK may process identifiers and technical information to deliver, measure and secure ads. A non-personalized ad does not necessarily mean no data is processed.

Consent choices depend on your region and the advertising configuration. Also see information from Google and Firebase.

On this website

The landing page does not trigger Analytics tracking. The administrator area uses Firebase Authentication and an essential session cookie to secure access. Hosting may generate technical logs. Support messages are used to answer requests. A preference cookie remembers the website language you choose.

Contact us with questions or requests about your data. See the page My data before deleting the app: local data and data potentially processed by third-party services are separate.

Your privacy choices

On first launch, choose your age range and preferences. From age 16, gameplay statistics and advertising features can be enabled separately; both are off by default. You can still play if you decline. No gameplay history from before Analytics consent is sent. Change your choices in Settings → Privacy. Disabling an option stops new corresponding transmissions; it does not automatically erase data already received by a provider.

If you enable ads, Google presents the form applicable to your region when required. You can reopen it from privacy settings when available, or disable advertising features. Ads are requested in non-personalized mode; this does not mean no technical data is processed. Ad rewards are unavailable when ads are disabled.

Purposes and legal bases

Game operation and local saving provide the service you request. Language and privacy choices are stored to respect your preferences. Optional usage measurement relies on consent. Advertising trackers requiring consent must only be used after the required choice. Site security, administrator access and support responses rely on our legitimate interest in protecting and supporting the service. Information needed for a dispute or legal obligation may be retained solely for that purpose.

Retention, choices and rights

Progress data stays on your device until deleted. Analytics event-data retention is set to 2 months; this does not determine retention of aggregated reports or advertising partners’ own data. Ordinary support exchanges are deleted 12 months after resolution, except for legal obligations or disputes. On the website, the language choice expires after 1 year and the administrator session after 8 hours. Providers’ technical logs and data follow their retention policies and applicable security needs or obligations.

Recipients and international transfers

The publisher and providers access data needed for their roles: Google/Firebase for permitted statistics, remote configuration and administrator authentication; Google AdMob and partners listed in the form for ads; Vercel for hosting; Google for support email. These services may process data outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Applicable mechanisms may include an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, depending on the service and recipient. Details are in the providers’ documents below.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data and object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email support with your request and platform; we will ask only for information needed to locate the data and verify the request. GDPR rights requests are generally answered within one month, with a justified extension where legally permitted. You may complain to the CNIL or your country’s competent data protection authority.
